So I went to the Dr. today for my weekly check-up. Of course I had my list of questions....
1. Q: I feel like this kid is going to fall out any second...so please confirm I have "dropped".
Doctor: Yes
2. Q: Can Andy stay with me in the operating room the whole time for the section?
Doctor: Yes
3. Q: WHEN CAN YOU DELIVER THIS BABY?????
Doctor: Pretty much whenever you want
Ok, so good, right? Well apparently this just doesn't work with everyone else's schedule!!! I guess since we had told everyone April 14, key players have planned around that date. I understand...I'm a planner myself, but I'm ready already!!
I think Andy is a little freaked out at the thought that she could come any earlier. "What's the rush?" My mom has meetings she's planned around....and "would discourage any volunteered earlier delivery" My dad has a business trip planned the week before so that doesn't work either.
The list goes on....and believe me, I want everyone who is possibly available to help to be there, so I will stick with what works with others' schedules! So it looks like I will continue to balloon, not sleep, and do anything to stay busy to pass the time over the next two weeks. And....unless Addison decides to come on her own any earlier....April 14th it is.

March Madness Anyone?
Does anyone else's husband celebrate this like a National holiday? Andy usually takes off work these two days so that he can sit in front of the TV and watch back to back games....however, thankfully he is saving his days to help out with Addison in a few weeks.
As far as sports are concerned, this is my favorite time of year. Every year Andy throws away $25 so that I can partake in his work pool and have my own bracket. I dread the emails I get every day showing my name in dead last for the standings. This year will be different though....I feel it!
I actually did my research....read some team background info and picked my teams on things other than cool colors or cute mascots alone. Yes, this is why I have always taken dead last. Learn from your mistakes. I feel pretty good about my final four....Tennessee, UCLA, Texas, and Kansas. I also have Kansas beating Texas in the final.
And the best part.....as of my 6:29pm update....I am beating my husband. I have to enjoy this while it lasts!

Letters are up...nursery is finished!
After ordering these letters back in November, they finally arrived on Saturday! Andy put them up today and announced that the nursery was done.....except for a crying baby (his words).

What a Wonderful Surprise!
My wonderful team of teachers at Mitchell threw me a shower on Friday morning. The shower with the staff was planned and everyone was so nice and really gave Addison some cute things. I was totally taken aback though when we took the kids out to recess shortly after. They just started running towards this gazeebo...so I followed to see what was going on. My incredible team and wonderful students had been planning a surprise shower for me. The kids all had gifts and we had pink and brown (of course) cupcakes to celebrate. I wish I had pictures of the kiddos, but I wasn't expecting it and didn't have my camera. I have had these students for two years and you get attached! Although I can't wait to stay home with Addison, it's hard to believe that I only have a week left at work with my kiddos and wonderful co-workers.
LC 8 Teachers: Vanessa, Beth, me, and Michelle
Just a few pictures of some of the wonderful things that were so generously given to us. Addison is going to be one well dressed little girl!

Spring Break '08!
Spring break is here......and this picture is obviously a joke! With only a month to go before we welcome Addison, I can't even imagine ever fitting into a bathing suit again! I'm wondering if everything will ever "go back"! Of course, it's all for an incredible blessing, but I have to say the thought of spending the next week on a beach is tempting if I can have someone else's body and a margarita to go with it. Margarita, wine, cold beer, shoot..... I would take just about anything now.
Instead....I'll be in nesting mode for sure. I feel like there is so much to be done before we meet Addison, including getting plenty of sleep....while we still can!

Happy Birthday Harley!
Today is Harley's birthday...two years old! He wasn't too thrilled about the hat, but loved his cupcake. He would also like to send a shout out to his brother, Sherrif who just moved to Michigan. Happy Birthday Sherrif!

Ready and Waiting!
We are just putting the finishing touches on the nursery! We went in for our 18th ultrasound today....(there are benefits to having this stupid cyst).....and I made her check one more time to make sure she's still a girl. Everything about the nursery is "girl-a-fied" and I just wanted to make sure!
