Out of Commission and So Thankful...

For my husband.

I had foot surgery on Friday to straighten a bone and do a few more things that make me squeamish just to think about so I won't mention them...

Bottom line...I'm on crutches for at least 2 weeks and get to wear this stylish boot

for 2 months.  The most frustrating thing is that I can't do anything without help.  Thank goodness I have it.  Andy has been great with Addison and is really doing such a great job taking care of us.  I just wanted to brag on him a little bit!

On the bright side, I have finally entered into modern technology on the texting front and received my Christmas present a bit early.  

I just got this new phone and love it!  It's got the full keyboard so now I can actually send a text without having to take 5 minutes to try to figure out how to do it like I did with my old phone.  It couldn't have come at a better time too because there is only so much you can do when you're stuck on the couch for a few weeks.  I am keeping myself busy by syncing my contacts and checking email....isn't that sad?  So come on people, do your good deed for the day and send me a text to keep me busy.
