I am not ashamed to say that after listening to my daughter yell, cry and scream for 15 minutes while kicking on her door, I finally opened it....not to comfort her, but to document.
Oh Lordy. The thought of naptime and bedtime have been making my skin crawl lately.
It has been a fight.
There have been many days where I have lost.
But today....winning.
There have been way too many times where little miss has thrown a fit and we have given in ....
to provide peace to all.
But she's a smart cookie.
She's played the game.
Game over.
I'm not ashamed to say there could be a lot more of this in the near future.
I'm not ashamed to say that I totally forgot this guy's 15 month post.
He forgave me.
But here were your stats little man.
Height: 32.5 inches (88%)
Weight: 24 lbs (46%)
I'm not ashamed to say that I have turned into a total bird watcher lately.
Our little baby hummingbirds are growing up!
I caught two quick pics of momma bird today.
She swoops in for a quick 10 second feed and then is off again. The babies stay in the nest by themselves since momma doesn't fit anymore. They should be ready to take their first flight in the next few days.
Not ashamed to say that I looked that up on Google.
ADDISON AND HADLEY ARE JUST ALIKE!! I am not ashamed to say I was sick and tired of the battle and I finally let her win. Hadley hasn't had a nap in three weeks. The earliest of any of my kids to give up a nap. Gavin napped until the day before Kindergarten and Ellie until she was 5. I just can't take the struggle. I hope it goes better with A for you than it did for me. I can totally sympathize though.
ReplyDeleteoh friend, we need to talk. I almost strangled Carson today for not napping. We went to the zoo this morning and he was exhausted but STILL didn't nap. And no nap = a horrible, ugly, no good, very BAD evening!!! I am determined to win and MAKE him take a nap for now on!!!
