All Smiles!!

Addison is finally starting to smile and coo. It's hard to catch them on camera right now, but today I finally got one! She is just so sweet and loving. She's spoiling me rotten too because last night she went to sleep at 9:30 and slept until 6:45...had a little breakfast...and went back to sleep until 10am!! Thank you beautiful!

A few more...

Remember how I said we had a week straight of crying? Well no one would believe us because whenever we took her somewhere besides home, she was awesome. So we had to document.
I just think this look is too funny.

Shell shower

About a week ago Andy's group at work threw us a sweet shower so Addison got to make her first big trip into the city so we could go see dad. Then we snuck dad out a little early and got to enjoy dinner together.

Time With Dad

Alright, I know it's been a long time since I updated so here we go. Addison is getting so big! She will be seven weeks tomorrow and I can't believe it. Finally I have to pack up the newborn clothes. She is such a wonderful baby...even though we went through one week of non-stop crying....I'll take it because she has been sleeping through the night since she was four weeks old. The girl just loves to sleep. She loves her car seat and her playmat and is really starting focus on mommy and daddy making lots of eye contact and once in a while giving us a little smile.

First Play DATE...with a boy!

Ok, dad is going to mad. Addison already had a date....at the ripe age of 4 weeks. My friend Callie and I got together today and enjoyed some good girl time and got a kick out of these two. Carson, her son was born about three weeks before Addison.
Addison was wide awake the entire time...almost three hours...a record for her. This boy had her attention.
And then they linked arms on their own!!!! So cute. Carson was quite the gentleman.

Nana and Pappa's House

We had so much fun on Mother's Day at my parent's house. Andy put together the crib in exchange for a mom promised "lifetime of free babysitting". We'll take it! Addison was all tuckered out from all the attention and had her first nap in the crib while we enjoyed a great meal sans child.

Sleepy time

This girl LOVES to sleep and will sleep anywhere....with any kind of noise....I know, I'm not complaining. She's just such a cuddle bug and will gladly curl up against you. I love those times.

Could she be any cuter?

Seriously, look at these little feet...it kills me. I love it.
Time with daddy is always great for both Addison and Mommy.

Addison loves her bath time and daddy does such a good job with it! Just make sure the water is warm enough....she let him have it the one time he made that mistake.

I've discovered mirrors...I'm so vain!

We finally found something that keeps her entertained. She loved looking at herself...and what girl doesn't?
I got a little bit tired of the newborn onesies today and decided it's time to open up the whole new world of wardrobe of 0-3 months....nevermind the fact that she is still newborn.
I can lift my head!!
And....I'm out...all this activity wears me out!

Sometimes it rains....

Ok, well I'm going to be really honest with this blog. The last week was a blur to me. I cannot thank my wonderful husband, loving mom, and countless friends who have been so supportive with phone calls, prayers, and stopping by.

I never thought I would be the one to go through it and at first normal crying and sadness seemed like "baby blues", but I hit a bit of a bottom last Thursday. Anxiety and panic (niether of which I've ever exeperienced before) kept me awake for three solid days....no sleep. It was a very, very scary thing....everyone is telling you YOU HAVE to sleep....and you just can't. You hear every sound...you watch the clock. It's madening. I finally went to a couple of doctors on Thursday and got some medicine to ease anxiety on Friday. I pretty much slept Friday through Sunday. This is where my wonderful family and friends have come in to help take care of my little angel.

Things are looking better. God is in control. I am trying to get back to breastfeeding as soon as I can if possible within the next couple of weeks. So thank you so much for your prayers, your help, and encouragement. Just know that if you ever need help...all you have to do is ask.
