Seriously!!??.

Make that a FOURTH visit to the doctor.

Forgive me for taking these pitiful pictures, but I had to document.

If you read yesterday's post, you could see how excited I was that we were finally in the clear.
Today she woke up like this....

with no fever, but still...covered in a red rash from head to toe.
Look at her poor little cheeks.

Turns out that the doctor says this is a little souvenir left over from her virus. He says it's harmless and there is nothing you can do. He also said she is NOT CONTAGIOUS. I should have gotten that in writing because after being cooped up in the house for two weeks straight we are READY to get out and go, but I know we're going to be getting a lot of weird looks. Poor pumpkin.

Oh My Gosh!! Erin got a rash after strep, but it was NOTHING like this one! I'm glad she's okay and getting better despite the rash...I'm sure it'll be gone really soon! E and B were sick all the time until their 2nd birthday...and now they're hardly ever sick :)

Seriously, is right! WOW! Tyler had a rash on his tummy like that after his MMR...but it didn't cover his body! I can not believe that, that's crazy! Absolutely need to document that one. Wow.

oh boy Eliza had that!!! That explains your week of high fever :) It will clear up in a few days but they look awful until then. Sometimes you just have to laugh...its that or cry!!!

wowza! I would have freaked too when I saw that! Poor thing! Katie had a spotty rash once after a fever as well. Hopefully it means it's over very soon!

Poor girl. Yep, once she has the rash she is no longer contagious. Us seasoned moms will know that, but you will get looks from those who aren't. Been there, done that. Hope that little Miss gets to feeling better soon. Hopefully you won't be paying anymore co-pays for awhile. :)
