Home

I'll be up front with you. I have no pictures. We just got our computer hooked up and I can finally see the floor of my house. Oh, and I've had two glasses of wine. That, and my camera just died when I was trying to load some from the three week hiatus I have had from blogging. So there are no pictures. Yet. But I have tons to share in the near future.

We are home. Home was always Houston. For 32 years, it's been Houston. But what I've realized over the last 2 months, is that home is where my family is. As long as I have my three favorite people with me, that's where home is.

I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to have the four of us back together. My kids are thrilled and I am more than that. The last two weeks or heck, even two months, were hard. Lots of goodbyes and lots of tears and lots of emotions....but now that we're here, I just have this huge peace...and happiness.

My mom has been so wonderful because she flew out with us yesterday and will be here until Wednesday so that we can finish unpacking, organizing, hanging, arranging, and maybe even go out to a movie.

I have so much to share...so much great time spent in our last few weeks in Houston, and I will most likely be on a blogging hot streak within the next few days. But for now, I'm just so glad to be home.

And yall....it's awesome. I have to say, now that we're finally here, we are loving it. We're already getting excited to have our first houseguests in just a few weeks, so the rest of you guys need to start looking at tickets. There is just so much to do, and it's a great place for a vacation, so come visit us!!!

Pictures to come soon, I promise.
