Cramming it all in

These are all from last weekend and as usual, I'm at least a week behind, so technically....these are right on schedule.
We had a busy, but great weekend.  Saturday I had a photo session in the morning and then we headed to the Encinitas street fair to get the kids out of the house for a while...followed by a DATE NIGHT.
We honestly couldn't remember the last date night we had had, so it was more than overdue.

Sunday was crazy.  We had planned a long time ago to have a Disney day....our passes are about to get blacked out for much of the summer, so we had to get there while we still could.
I had to leave the fancy camera at home, but it was still fun to catch a few candids.

After wearing her original studs for over 4 months (made her hold out due to my pure laziness), I finally let her put on her Mickey Mouse earrings, which she loved.

After the teacups, we headed to a little roller coaster in Toon Town.
Addison SCREAMED the entire time but as soon as we stopped, she said...still shaking...."I had fun, Mom".
Graham was TOTALLY SILENT for the entire 20 second ride and 10 minutes following it.
When he finally did talk, he said, "I was scared dad."
A good sport though.....

After a quick four hours at Disney (four hours gets you about 4 rides), we headed down to Laguna Beach to see my parents who were visiting for a conference with my dad's work.
Don't even get me started on the ridiculousness of his "job".
They are headed to Marco Island this weekend and Ireland next weekend.
Rough life.

We had some drinks out on the patio.
I will most likely never stay at the Ritz Carlton on my own, so it was nice to hang on to the coat tails of others....

It may be "May Grey" right now, but the view was still breathtaking.

We let the kids run off some energy before dinner....this is outside of their room.
ROUGH.

and because it's rare that the two of us get a picture, I'll include this one...
It was our 7 year anniversary this week....hard to believe.

wished it was a longer visit, but SO GREAT to get to see them for a few hours.
