Last Days in California

July was the biggest whirlwind ever.
Not only did we take our road trip up the coast, we put our house on the market, tried to soak up all of our favorite things California for a few more weeks, said goodbye to friends, went to Colorado with Andy's family, moved the kids to Texas, came back to San Diego and saw them pack up and load the house before heading to Texas for good.

It was crazy.
But for those few days before the crazy, we just enjoyed....

There were lots of visits to La Costa....man we miss that place.

Addison wanted to soak up some sun in the backyard.....she tells me often she misses the backyard from our old house....she's not the only one...

a quick rest on the hammock...

the stress may have resulted in a few of these mules....

and happy hours at La Costa....

cloudy or not, we were going to the beach....
it was the kids last trip and we were saying to Addison...."I'm sorry it's not sunny for your last time...."
Her response was, "that's ok, we've had a lot of that."

Andy met us on his lunch break at the beach that last week.....I have to say sadly, that's the last time that will ever happen.
